This course is specifically designed for interpreters or interpreting students who are planning to take the NIC – Written Examination. The webinar series will focus on the knowledge statements of the 10 tasks identified in the NAD-RID National Interpreter Certification (NIC) Examination Test Outline and associated content material.

in a safe environment with your peers!

Upon completion of the series participants will feel more comfortable with the structure of the NIC Written Examination, the 10 tasks outlined by the National Council on Interpreting Role Delineation Panel, and the suggested reference materials. Participants will receive an electronic Resource Packet with supplemental documents.

Participants can choose between two different types of learning:

1. 3-Week Facilitated Learning Session (Live with Facilitated Discussion)$139.99 Thursdays, 5/12/11, 5/19/11 & 5/26/11 6:30-9:00 PM Eastern Time (1.8 CEUs)
• The content will be broken down into three separate sessions, each 150 minutes in length. Participants will join these sessions live (or via recording) and then participate in an online facilitated discussion to enhance learner comprehension.
2. Self-Study Learning Session (Recorded Independent Study)$119.99
• The content explained above will be recorded and archived for independent study. Participants can choose to view the materials on their own for self-directed study.
